Marizanne Kapp and Tumi Sekhukhune will miss the Proteas Women’s entire three-match T20I series against England.
Kapp returns home for family reasons, while Sekhukhune has sustained a recurrent right-groin injury.
The 23-year-old Sekhukhune experienced discomfort during the warm-ups ahead of the third ODI against England on Monday. After being assessed by the team’s medical staff, the decision was made to send her home to begin her rehabilitation.
Top-order batter Tazmin Brits has been called up to the group.
