Russell Domingo has resigned as the Bangladesh head coach.
According to ESPNcricinfo, the former Proteas head coach informed the BCB of his decision on Tuesday, two days after Bangladesh’s 2-0 home Test series defeat to India.
In August, Domingo was stripped of his role as T20I coach and told to focus on ODI and Test cricket. Sridharan Sriram coached Bangladesh at the T20 Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.
Domingo became Bangladesh coach in September 2019. Highlights of his stint include home T20I series wins against Australia and New Zealand, a first-ever Test victory in New Zealand, a historic ODI series win in South Africa and a home ODI series win against India.
