Sarel Erwee and Vaughn van Jaarsveld broke the back of the Warriors’ resistance by setting up a nine-wicket victory to leapfrog the Warriors into second place on the One-Day Cup log.
The Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first at St George’s Park and struggled their way to 223-9 off their 50 overs.
Jon-Jon Smuts (76), Onke Nyaku (34) and Gihahn Cloete (27) did their best to help the Warriors post a competitive total, but the Dolphins bowlers kept them in check, with Okuhle Cele (3-52, econ 5.20) and Keshav Maharaj (1-28, econ 2.80) shining with the ball.
