The KZN Dolphins secured a three-run T20 Challenge win on the DLS method against the Northerns Titans at Kingsmead on Wednesday.
Having been put into bat, the hosts posted 127-6. Jason Smith top-scored with 28*, while Khaya Zondo and Bradley Porteous each made 21.
David Wiese took 5-29 in his four overs for the visitors.
The Dolphins’ bowling attack was just as clinical, restricting the Titans to 74-5 before rain stopped play.
When the players returned to the field, the Titans’ revised target of 104 saw them needing 30 runs from two overs, and Dolphins eventually clinched a narrow win.
Skipper Prenelan Subrayen and Jon-Jon Smuts each took two wickets.
The Dolphins are third on the T20 Challenge log and the Titans’ fifth.
