KZN Dolphins head coach Imraan Khan will leave his position to take up the role of batting lead at CSA.
Khan, who is currently with the Proteas Test squad in the Caribbean, spent a period as the assistant coach of the Dolphins before guiding them to a first franchise 4-Day Series crown in the 2020-21 season. He then oversaw another 4-Day Series title triumph in the 2022-23 season.
The Dolphins also excelled in the white-ball formats under Khan, winning the One-Day Cup in his first season. They shared the 50-over trophy with the Lions the following season and also competed in three T20 Challenge finals under the guidance of Khan.
“I want to thank the Dolphins and the KZN Cricket Union for all their support,” Khan said. “This is an exciting step in my path as a coach, but Kingsmead will always be home, and I will miss everyone here.”
