Shikhar Dhawan blasted 92 from 49 deliveries as the Delhi Capitals comfortably saw off the Punjab Kings with a six-wicket victory in Mumbai on Sunday.
Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and elected to field first with the Punjab Kings making a flying start – thanks to some powerful hitting by openers Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul.
The pair put on 122 runs for the opening stand and both reached their respective half-centuries that helped Punjab post 195-4 in their 20 overs.

Dhawan led the Capitals’ run chase and provided a valuable anchor at the top of the order that ticked them closer to victory.
The left-hander fell eight runs short of his century but his innings provided the Capitals with a solid platform to get over the line.
Marcus Stoinis and Lalit Yadav remained composed towards the end and reached the required target with ten balls remaining in the innings.
