Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan was unimpressed with Emirates Airlines after he arrived in South Africa without his family.
The 32-year-old landed in Cape Town on Friday fuming over the unprofessionalism of the Airline, after his wife Aesha and their two children were blocked from boarding the flight from Dubai to Cape Town because they failed to produce their identification documents and birth certificates.
According to Dhawan, they were not informed prior to the trip that these documents were a necessity and he took to Twitter to reveal his frustration.
2/2.They are now at Dubai airport waiting for the documents to arrive. Why didn’t @emirates notify about such a situation when we were boarding the plane from Mumbai? One of the emirates’ employee was being rude for no reason at all.
