Charl Langeveldt took a hat-trick against the West Indies in an ODI in 2005 to clinch the series for South Africa.
Langeveldt, who celebrates his 41st birthday on Thursday, played 72 ODIs for the Proteas and became their bowling coach after the 2015 World Cup.
He will most likely be best remembered for the hat-trick he took in the last over in Barbados to give South Africa an 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
