Tony de Zorzi struck another century as Western Province claimed a 177-run victory against the Free State Knights in their One-Day Cup match in Bloemfontein on Wednesday.
After being put into bat, Jonathan Bird (86 off 98 balls) and De Zorzi (133 off 118) put on 208 runs for Western Province’s first wicket.
De Zorzi, who scored 163 against the Boland Rocks and a record 304* against the Knights at Newlands in the 4-Day Series last month, was caught by Mbulelo Budaza off Patrick Botha in the 41st over after hitting 14 fours and two sixes.

George Linde continued to deliver with both bat and ball, smashing 70 off 34 balls as WP finished on 366-7, the highest score in the tournament so far.
Aubrey Swanepoel took 3-63 for the Knights and Budaza 2-65.
When bad light stopped play at the Mangaung Oval, the Knights’ target was revised to 338 in 40 overs.
They were bowled out for 160 in 26.5 overs, with only Botha (45 off 44) and Migael Pretorius (33 off 27) putting up any resistance.
Linde (3-35) and Junaid Dawood (3-38) each picked up three wickets.
