The Northerns Titans will have “almost a full team” unavailable for next year’s T20 Challenge.
The tournament will take place from 8 March to 28 April, and clash with the IPL.
“We get penalised because we have the best players,” Titans CEO Jacques Faul told Rapport newspaper.
“We are losing Quinton de Kock, Heinrich Klaasen, Aiden Markram, Dewald Brevis, Donovan Ferreira, Lungi Ngidi and Gerald Coetzee to the IPL.
“Of course, the schedule was not done on purpose or with bad intentions. But the tournament is now losing a lot of its lustre because such players cannot participate.”
