South African-born Devon Conway’s excellent form with the bat continued on Sunday when he smashed an unbeaten 92 as New Zealand beat Bangladesh by 66 runs in the first T20I.
The Black Caps batted first in Hamilton with Conway going big with the bat once again as the home side piled on the runs.
Conway’s unbeaten knock came off just 52 deliveries, while Will Young smacked 53 from 30 balls, New Zealand posting 210-3 in their allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Ish Sodi was lethal with the ball, bagging figures of 4-28 in his spell as Bangladesh only managed 144-8.
