Colin Ingram reveals his T20 power-hitting training secret.
After scoring a powerhouse undefeated 71 off 40 balls for Glamorgan against Dale Steyn’s Hampshire (six fours, four sixes, S/R 177.50) in a Vitality Blast match on 10 August and the Port Elizabeth-born batsman tweeted a short video revealing his secret training regime.
Steyn later retweeted the post, referring to Ingram by the nickname ‘Farmer’, which you can tell by the size of his guns and the way he mows down bowlers. A warning to youngsters (and all amateurs): if you try this drill at home be sure to avoid practicing getting your foot to the ball, as it might be a little too close for comfort.
