George Linde ripped through the Knights batting with career-best figures of 7-29 as the Cobras won their 4-Day Franchise Series clash by an innings 214 runs.
The Proteas spinner had the men from Bloemfontein in trouble late on Thursday afternoon as they tried to get near the Cobras’ mammoth first-innings score of 523-8.
It didn’t take long for Linde, however, to wrap up the win on Friday with his best ever figures in first-class cricket as the Knight were bowled out for 123.
