The Cobras finally secured their first win of the CSA T20 Challenge when they beat the Warriors by 24 runs in Durban on Tuesday.
Competing for the third consecutive day, the men from Cape Town were desperate to break their losing streak against the Warriors, who lost their opening clash against the Lions over the past weekend.
Asked to bat first, the Cobras batsmen did an excellent job, piling on the runs against the Warriors. Zubayr Hamza top-scored with 57, while George Linde struck 48 off 20 deliveries towards the end of the innings as the Cobras posted 181-5 in their 20 overs.

The Eastern Cape outfit, however, never really got going in their run chase, struggling to form any sort of worthy partnerships.
Linde, in particular, proved devastating with the ball, ripping through the Warriors middle order with Imran Manack and Calvin Savage also chipping in.
Marco Jansen and Anrich Nortje provided the Warriors with a glimmer of hope, sharing in the 67-run stand for the eighth wicket. Onke Nyaku dismissed Nortje for 25 to break the partnership before Mthiwekhaya Nabe was run out for only one.
Jansen pushed the Cobras bowlers till the very end, making 47 off 36 before being caught on the boundary, handing the Cobras victory in the final over. Linde finished as the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4-25 in his spell.
