The ICC has announced the prize fund for the upcoming Champions Trophy, with the winners receiving $2.2-million.
The total prize fund for the tournament is to be $4.5-million, the runners-up taking home $1.1-million for their efforts.
The beaten semi-finalists, meanwhile, will pocket $450,000 apiece. The teams which miss out on qualification for the semi-finals stand to earn $90,000 for being third, while the teams anchoring the respective pools receive $60,000.
The Champions Trophy begins in England on 1 June, with the final taking place on 18 June.
