Mark Boucher’s legal team does not want his disciplinary hearing to take place behind closed doors.
The Proteas coach faces charges related to racial discrimination which could result in his dismissal by CSA.
Rapport newspaper understands that Boucher’s legal team has made an official request to CSA’s legal representatives that the trial from 16-20 May should take place in public.
If their request is denied, they will then approach the chairman of the disciplinary hearing, Adv Terry Motau, directly with their request for a public hearing.
