The Bangladesh Cricket board will look into the reasons behind their humiliating defeats on their tour to South Africa.
BCB president Nazmul Hasan said that questions will be asked of the players and coaching staff as to how they were destroyed in all three formats.
‘The overall performance was very bad. Of course we have some questions,’ Hasan told the media in Dhaka.
‘We have to know if there were other problems. We all know Bangladesh can lose games, but we cannot accept the way they lost them.’
Not only the bowlers were to blame, as the batsmen were also woeful and ‘could not do anything, even on a flat wicket’, Hasan said.
Bangladesh received Test status in 2000 and are ranked ninth on the ICC rankings. They will host Sri Lanka in January, followed by a tour to the West Indies in February.
