The SA20’s global footprint continues to grow as franchises reinforce their squads with some top Australian talent.
Those franchises have taken advantage of Australia’s brief hiatus from any international commitments (until 9 February).
T20 World Cup winner Matthew Wade joins the Joburg Super Kings and will instantly improve the top of their batting order. He replaces Alzarri Joseph, who was called up by the West Indies for their tour of Zimbabwe.
Hard-hitting Singapore-born Australia all-rounder Tim David and English fast bowler Henry Brooks have joined MI Cape Town as replacements for the injured Liam Livingstone and Olly Stone, who has been called up by England for their Test series in New Zealand.
