Pakistan have appointed former Proteas coach Mickey Arthur as their head coach.
Arthur replaces Waqar Younis, who resigned after a disastrous ICC World Twenty20 last month.
Arthur coached the Proteas between 2005 and 2010, before taking up the post at Australia for 19 months.
He endured mixed fortunes as coach of the Australian side, losing a Test series in India 4-0, before following it up with a poor Champions Trophy in England.
He was sacked two weeks before the Ashes series started in England in June 2013, with two years to run on his contract, and replaced by Darren Lehmann.
He later sued Cricket Australia for up to four million Australian dollars, claiming there had been a deliberate campaign against him, before reaching a confidential agreement with the governing body.
