Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock have slipped down in the latest ICC Test batting rankings.
Following the Proteas’ 239-run loss in the third Test against England at The Oval, both Amla and De Kock have fallen two and three points down the rankings respectively.
The wicketkeeper-batsman, who only managed scores of 17 and five in his two innings, has dropped to No 8, while Amla’s scores of six and five has seen him drop to 10th.
Dean Elgar’s 136-run knock in the second innings has seen the Proteas opener move up to 15th, in the only positive shift by a South African batsman in the latest rankings.
