Mzansi Super League T20 tournament tickets go on sale from Friday morning, 26 October, with ticket prices starting at R50 for all 32 matches that take place from 16 November to 16 December 2018.

Tickets will be available through www.ticketpros.co.za (call centre number: 0861 008 277) and across all TICKETPRO retail outlets – Edgars, Jet, CNA and Spar across the country.

The much-anticipated competition blasts off with a cracking day-night clash featuring the traditional Cape-Tshwane rivalry, with the Cape Town Blitz taking on the Tshwane Spartans at Newlands on Friday, 16 November (match starts at 7pm).

Both outfits are coached by former Proteas stalwarts in Ashwell Prince (Blitz) and Mark Boucher (Spartans) as they lead their galaxy of assembled stars into the inaugural event’s first weekend.

On Saturday evening, the Jozi Stars tackle the Nelson Mandela Bay Giants at Wanderers Stadium at 7pm in a furious contest before the weekend concludes with two explosive fixtures – the Durban Heat hosting the Cape Town Blitz at Kingsmead Stadium (11:30am) and the Paarl Rocks padding up against the Tshwane Spartans at Boland Park (3:30pm).

As tickets went on sale to the public, Cricket South Africa chief executive Thabang Moroe commented: ‘We have made tickets easily obtainable and available at a reasonable cost to go with our objective of making the MSL T20 matches affordable to the general public – old and new.

‘This is a new competition with new teams, new funky team logos and kits … we hope to see everyone joining us as we formally launch ‘FAST. FUN. FOR ALL.’ cricket at all six venues where the MSL T20 will take place. There are other entertainment features and activations that we will reveal closer to the tournament start.’
