Pollard (46 off 27) and Lendl Simmons (45 off 26) kept the run chase going in spectacular fashion, but tight bowling from Andre Russell (2-15, econ 5.00) and Imad Wasim (1-24, econ 6.00) restricted the Stars to 183-8 off their 20 overs.
