Kagiso Rabada picking up the wicket of Australia’s Josh Hazlewood early in the day is our Play of the Day.
We’ve seen throughout the series the impact tailenders can have on the game, and South Africa would have wanted to remove the last Australian wicket as quickly as possible.
Rabada dismissed Hazlewood, who was caught in the slips by Hashim Amla, to end the Australian innings, giving South Africa an important lead of 56 runs and allowing them to build on.
With little pressure on the batsmen, South Africa were able to play freely, and at stumps on day three, their lead was worth 294 runs.
