Rondebosch take on Hilton College and Grey High meet St Alban’s in the headline matches to kick off the Coca-Cola Schools T20 Challenge finals, at the University of Pretoria on Friday morning.
The two focus (development) teams, Graeme College and Prestige College, take on King Edward and St Andrew’s respectively.
The franchise representatives are: Titans – St Alban’s College; Lions – King Edward VII School; Dolphins – Hilton College; Cobras – Rondebosch Boys’ High; Knights – St Andrew’s School; Warriors – Grey High School. Graeme College is the Coastal focus school and Prestige College the Inland focus school.
The teams have been divided into two pools and the will play three round-robin games – two on Friday and one on Saturday morning. There will be cross-pool play-offs on Saturday afternoon, including the semi-finals.
The pools are: A: King Edward, Graeme, Grey and St Alban’s and B: Rondebosch, Hilton, St Andrew’s, Prestige
The positional play-offs are on Sunday morning and the final on Sunday afternoon, preceded by a match between a CSA development hub’s XI and an All-Star team chosen from schools that did not make it to the finals.

Friday morning – King Edward v Graeme, Rondebosch v Hilton, St Alban’s v Grey, St Andrew’s v Prestige.
Friday afternoon – King Edward v Grey, Rondebosch v Prestige, St Alban’s v Graeme, Hilton v St Alban’s.
Saturday morning – King Edward v St Alban’s, Rondebosch v St Andrew’s, Grey v Graeme, Hilton v Prestige.
Saturday afternoon – semi-finals and positions five to eight playoffs.
Sunday morning – 3rd, 5th and 7th playoffs.
Sunday afternoon – final.
