The Proteas have won the toss and opted to bowl in the third ODI against India at Newlands.
India beat South Africa convincingly in Durban and Centurion last week. If India record another win in Cape Town today, they will move into a 3-0 lead and ensure that they cannot lose the six-game series.
The Proteas come into this game without three key players: AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis, and Quinton de Kock are all unavailable due to injuries.
The loss of De Kock – who injured his hand in the second ODI – has necessitated a change in wicketkeeper. Heinrich Klaasen will make his ODI debut at Newlands today.

Other changes to the Proteas side see Andile Phehlukwayo and Lungi Ngidi included. The latter will be making his ODI debut.
Morne Morkel and Tabraiz Shamsi have been left out.
Meanwhile, India have stuck with the same combination that did the business at Kingsmead and Centurion.
