Quinton de Kock has been named in both the ICC Test team and the One-Day outfit for 2017.

The wicketkeeper-batsman is one of three in the Test team alongside opener Dean Elgar and pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada.

And he would play alongside AB de Villiers in the One-Day team if the ICC could put them in the field.

Elgar would open with David Warner (Australia), while Rabada would probably be first change after James Anderson (England) and Mitchell Starc (Australia) all under the captaincy of India’s Virat Kohli, making his debut in the ICC Test Team of the Year. He was also named ICC Cricketer of the Year.

As an added bonus for South Africa, Marais Erasmus won the prestigious David Shepherd Trophy for the ICC Umpire of the Year for the second successive year.
