Imran Tahir recorded figures of 3-18 in four overs as he led his side to a crushing victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Needing to defend a total of 157 against a powerful Royal Challengers batting lineup, Tahir was vital in ensuring a 61-run victory for his side.
His first scalp was that of Pawan Negi, caught by Daniel Christian off the fourth ball of the 13th over. He followed that up with the wicket of New Zealand’s Adam Milne, for only five runs, in the 15th over.
The South African star added the finishing touches to a magnificent outing with his best ball of the night, a googly which Samuel Badree knew very little about, as he brought his tournament haul to 13 wickets and ascended to the second position on the bowling charts.
