The Proteas have won the toss and have chosen to bowl first, as they look to close out the series in the pink day clash against Sri Lanka.
In what is Faf du Plessis’ 100th ODI, the side will look to put in a special effort in front of thousands of pink supporters, as they chase a ninth ODI victory in a row, and with that, an unassailable 3-0 series lead.
AB de Villiers, who has fond memories in pink with his record-breaking 149 against West Indies in 2015, opted to have a bowl first.
Farhaan Behardien comes into the side at the expense of the injured David Miller, while Dwaine Pretorius features instead of Wayne Parnell. For Sri Lanka, Lahiru Madushanka and Lahiru Kumara come in to make their debut to replace Nuwan Kulasekara and Chaturanga de Silva.
A bit of cloud cover is expected on what is otherwise expected to be a clear, sunny day.
