Temba Bavuma is on the cover of the latest edition of SA Cricket magazine, which is now on sale in leading retail outlets.
The 26-year-old middle-order stalwart is featuring on the cover for the first time, which is testimony to how well he has done in such a short space of time. With nine Test caps to his name, a lot of work still needs to be done to establish his place in the Proteas lineup, but with as many as 15 Test caps up for grabs in little over a year, this is a critical period for him and he will be central to the Proteas’ plans in working their way back up from No 6 in the Test rankings.
In the latest issue Bavuma talks about the new standards he’s set for himself, and his ambitions for the future, which includes playing in the shorter formats and making an immediate impact in the NZ Test series in August.
