Steve Smith won the toss and elected to bat first in the Tri-Nation series match against the Proteas in St Kitts.
Both sides will be looking to gain the upper hand in the series, after winning a game apiece in the opening round of matches in Guyana. Australia blazed past hosts West Indies in the second match to win by six wickets after skittling the hosts for just 116 runs.
The Proteas bounced back from their four-wicket defeat to the West Indies in the opening match to beat Australia by 47 runs in match three.
Pitch conditions at Warner Park in St Kitts look set to favour more of a pace attack, which is in stark contrast to that offered in Guyana, and as such the Proteas have opted to go with just two spinners again in Imran Tahir and Aaron Phangiso.
Australia have opted for just one spinner in Adam Zampa, while George Bailey and James Faulkner have returned to the side.
