The IPL Play of the Day goes to Yuvraj Singh, for his unusual dismissal in his 100th IPL match.

Just when Yuvraj thought he’d seen it all over the 100 matches he’s played in the IPL, his mode of dismissal was one that hasn’t happened since it happened to Saurabh Tiwary four years ago – ‘hit wicket’.

Going along at a blistering pace with 39 off 23 balls, Yuvraj positioned himself deep inside his crease in an attempt to blast away with three balls remaining, but all that achieved was hitting his off-stump with his bat after he pulled away from a wide Mitchell McClenaghan delivery. There wasn’t too much fuss, as it brought an end to a great cameo.
