AB de Villiers transformed South Africa’s innings with a excellent 64 off 29 balls, taking 29 runs off the 17th over which propelled his team to a total past the 200-mark.

SHOT OF THE DAY
De Villiers usually moves his feet well when he is batting well, and his sweep shot over the fine-leg boundary was great to watch as he moved across his stumps and gave himself room to hit one of his five sixes.

BOWLER OF THE DAY
Chris Morris for his career best T20 figures of 4-27. The all-rounder was under some pressure coming into this game after taking a pounding against England, but he improved this time around and took the wickets of key batsmen.

DELIVERY OF THE DAY
The Morris delivery which got rid of the dangerous Mohammad Shahzad at a time when he was threatening to take the game away from the Proteas. Morris got one to angle in, opened up the batsman and straightened to make a mess of the stumps with a ball clocked at 149km/h.

CATCH OF THE DAY
Nothing stood out, but I’ll give it to Quinton de Kock for taking three catches and a stumping.

BAD START
South Africa need to start better with the ball. They must be more disciplined and show they have the ability to adjust their plans if it’s not working. They haven’t been flexible enough with the ball in hand and it has made life difficult for them in both the games they’ve played so far.
