BATSMAN OF THE DAY
Hashim Amla’s unbeaten 97 was a joy to watch. He has surely now confirmed his place in the side for the World T20 after good performances against England and Australia. He smashed eight fours and four sixes with some proper cricket shots as well and looked comfortable throughout.

SHOT OF THE DAY
Steve Smith’s flick through his legs for four at the fine-leg boundary looked casual and reminiscent of what we’ve seen some tennis players attempt.

BOWLER OF THE DAY
Adam Zampa didn’t take a wicket but bowled really well and only conceded 23 runs in his four overs.

DELIVERY OF THE DAY
Nothing really stood out, but Kagiso Rabada’s bouncer to Shane Watson, which saw the batsman land in his backside, was fun to watch as the youngster showed some aggression both will ball in hand and verbally.

CATCH OF THE DAY 
Faf du Plessis’s second attempt to get rid of Shane Watson, whom he dropped the previous ball with an almost identical effort. Watson reached for a wide delivery and lofted it very high into the off side. Du Plessis had to run back from cover and this time pulled out a successful dive to hold on.
