Proteas coach Rob Walter has roped in another two players for their first Tri-Series ODI against New Zealand in Lahore on Monday.
Lungi Ngidi (Paarl Royals) and Tabraiz Shamsi (Joburg Super Kings) will join the national squad after their SA20 campaigns ended this week.
Keshav Maharaj and Heinrich Klaasen will miss the New Zealand match as they travel to Karachi on Sunday, ahead of the second Tri-Series ODI against Pakistan at the National Stadium on Wednesday.
Champions Trophy squad members Marco Jansen, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Kagiso Rabada, Ryan Rickelton, Tristan Stubbs, and Rassie van der Dussen will depart for Pakistan next Friday.
Proteas squad: Temba Bavuma (c,), Eathan Bosch, Matthew Breetzke, Junior Dala, Wiaan Mulder, Mihlali Mpongwana, Senuran Muthusamy, Gideon Peters, Meeka-eel Prince, Jason Smith, Kyle Verreynne (WP).
