The third T20I between the Proteas and Pakistan was abandoned due to rain and lightning without a ball being bowled.
The match had been sold out, leaving 34,000 fans disappointed when the captains shook hands at 8pm.
The Proteas won the series 2-0 after wins in Durban and Centurion.
All-rounder George Linde was named Player of the Series after taking five wickets (including 4-21 in the first match) and scoring 48 runs.
The three-match ODI series between the teams starts in Paarl on Tuesday.
