Proteas all-rounder Wiaan Mulder has been ruled out of the remainder of the Test series against Sri Lanka.
The 26-year-old sustained a fractured right middle finger after being struck while batting during South
Africa’s first innings on day two of the first Test in Durban.
Subsequent X-rays revealed the extent of the injury.
Warriors batsman Matthew Breetzke has been named as Mulder’s replacement for the second
Test at St George’s Park from 5 December.
Breetzke made his Test debut against Bangladesh in Mirpur last month, and was bowled for a duck.
