Janneman Malan will leave the Boland Rocks at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old batsman, who has played 23 ODIs and 11 T20Is for South Africa, is tipped to join the recently-promoted Free State Knights.
“We have mutually agreed to terminate Janneman’s contract,” Boland Cricket CEO James Fortuin told Rapport newspaper. “We are parting on good terms – we love him – while Pieter Malan [Janneman’s brother] will remain here with the province.”
Meanwhile, Boland have signed batsmen Grant Roelofsen (KZN Dolphins) and Blayde Capell (Garden Route Badgers) and pace bowler Keith Dudgeon (KZN Inland Tuskers).
