Sri Lanka A dominated day three of the second four-day match against South Africa A in Colombo.
The visitors resumed their first innings on 287-6, in reply to the hosts’ 290, only to collapse to 294 all out, with Kyle Verreynne left stranded on 38*. Tristan Stubbs top-scored with 117.
Sri Lanka A then piled on the runs and were 230-2 at stumps – a lead of 226.
Minod Bhanuka (79*) and Pasindu Sooriyabandara (73*) put on 157 for the third wicket, while Tshepo Moreki and Tristan Stubbs picked up the only two wickets to fall.
Sri Lanka A won the first match in Pallekele by 160 runs.
