The Boland Rocks have named two Proteas players in their squad for the 2023-24 season.
Batsman Keegan Petersen returns to Paarl where he began his professional career, having played for the KZN Dolphins since 2020-21, while fast bowler Glenton Stuurman arrives from the EP Warriors.
Another two experienced domestic cricketers, Aviwe Mgijima and Akhona Mnyaka, have been included in the Rocks squad.
Opening batsman Janneman Malan is now contracted full time by Boland, having previously had a national contract, while Jevano Baron and Aiden du Toit have earned high-performance contracts for the first time.
The Rocks say goodbye to Bamanye Xenxe (North West Dragons) as well as Ruan Terblanche and Khwezi Gumede (both to the Garden Route Badgers).
“We have contracted a very strong squad who will be able to be competitive in all formats,” said Rocks bowling coach Henry Williams. “Our squad is more experienced now with all our new recruits being seasoned performers.”
