The Paarl Royals thrashed the Joburg Super Kings by seven wickets in the SA20 match at Boland Park on Friday.
The Royals needed just 10.3 overs to reach their target of 82, with Jos Buttler unbeaten on 29 off 21 balls.
Jason Roy (12) and Wihan Lubbe (19) also chipped in, while there was time for David Miller (8*) to hit a big six, much to the delight of the crowd.
It was an impressive performance from the Royals, who lost their opening match to MI Cape Town on Tuesday, and an abject one from the Super Kings, whose top order again let them down.
The visitors were bowled out for a dismal 81 in 17.2 overs, with Bjorn Fortuin and Evan Jones each taking three wickets.
Spinner Fortuin caused the early damage, dismissing openers Janneman Malan (two) and Reeza Hendricks (four) in quick succession.

Lungi Ngidi then got the big wicket of captain Faf du Plessis (two) to leave the Super Kings reeling at 10-3.

Wickets continued to fall, with Jones bowling the dangerous Donovan Ferreira for six.
Only a last-wicket partnership of 26 (the highest of the innings) between Lizaad Williams (17*) and Aaron Phangiso (10) prevented further embarrassment.
