The Northerns Titans suffered their first defeat in the T20 Challenge on Tuesday in a match disrupted by load-shedding.
The Titans, who had won their first four matches of the tournament in Potchefstroom, lost by four runs to the Boland Rocks via the DLS method.
After being put in to the bat, the Rocks posted 121-8, with Farhaan Behardien scoring 63 off 51 balls and Junior Dala taking 3-20 in his four overs for the Titans.
Load-shedding then hit the stadium, and the time lost resulted in the Titans innings being reduced to 17 overs and the target to 108 runs.
The Titans appeared on track for most of their innings, with Dewald Brevis (22 off 11), Jiveshen Pillay (18 off 34), Neil Brand (20 off 20) and Dayyaan Galiem (25 off 21) all chipping in.
But Ferisco Adams bowled a superb penultimate over, conceding only four runs while dismissing Ayabulela Gqamane.
Bamanye Xenxe was left to defend nine runs in the final over. He clean bowled Simon Harmer before trapping Corbin Bosch lbw to finish with figures of 3-20.
