South Africa thrashed New Zealand by nine wickets in a T20 World Cup warm-up match in Brisbane on Monday.
The Black Caps were bowled out for 98 in 17.1 overs, with stand-in Proteas captain Keshav Maharaj taking 3-17 and Wayne Parnell 2-8.
The Proteas needed just 11.2 overs to reach their target. Reeza Hendricks (27 off 24 balls), Rilee Rossouw (54* off 32) and Aiden Markram (16* off 12) all spent valuable time at the crease.
Proteas captain Temba Bavuma and Quinton de Kock were both rested for the match.
South Africa’s final warm-up match is against Bangladesh on Wednesday.
