Rilee Rossouw, Leus du Plooy and Chris Green were the standout South African performers in England’s T20 Blast this past weekend.
Green and George Linde both failed to reach double figures with the bat in Kent’s 55-run victory over Middlesex on Sunday, but produced with the ball, picking up three and two wickets, respectively.
In Kent’s match against Sussex last Friday, Green scored 22 off 11 balls and took a wicket.
Du Plooy followed his unbeaten 59 earlier in the week with 51 off 33 balls on Friday as Derbyshire went down by seven wickets to Nottinghamshire.
Marchant de Lange was taken to the cleaners when Glamorgan met Somerset on Friday. The South African quick conceded 30 runs off his three overs as Somerset claimed a nine-wicket victory, with Rossouw scoring a quick-fire 30 off 15 balls (three sixes and a four).
Dane Villas followed up his 34-run knock earlier in the week with a useful 32 off 27 balls in Lancashire’s two-wicket victory over Northamptonshire on Friday.
