    A wrap of all the weekend’s IPL action involving South African players.

    Captain Faf du Plessis hit his third half-century of the season as the Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 67 runs on Sunday.

    Du Plessis made an unbeaten 73 off 50 balls, including eight fours and two sixes, as Bangalore posted 192-3.

    Aiden Markram chipped in with 21 off 27 balls for Hyderabad.

    Delhi Daredevils paceman Anrich Nortje finished with figures of 3-42 in their 91-run defeat by the Chennai Super Kings.

    Quinton de Kock top-scored for the Lucknow Super Giants in their 75-run win over the Kolkota Knight Riders on Saturday.

    De Kock, who made a 29-ball 50, and Deepak Hooda, who hit 41 off 27 deliveries, put on 71 runs to lay the foundation for Lucknow’s 176-7.

    Kagiso Rabada claimed one wicket for 50 runs for the Punjab Kings in a six-wicket defeat by the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday.

    On Friday, David Miller made an unbeaten 19 for the Gujarat Titans in his 100th IPL match in a five-run defeat to the Mumbai Indians.
