The Boland Rocks kept their T20 Challenge semi-final hopes alive with a three-wicket win over the EP Warriors at St George’s Park on Thursday.
The Rocks’ third win in five matches took them up to third on the log with 13 points, while the Warriors are sixth with just four.
Tristan Stubbs continued his excellent run of form in this tournament, hitting 47 off 30 balls as the hosts posted 156-6 in their 20 overs.

Opener Wihan Lubbe (35 off 25) and Diego Rosier (31 off 22) also made significant contributions, while Rocks spinner Shaun von Berg took 3-26 in his four overs.
Boland lost the Malan brothers cheaply – Janneman for a duck and captain Pieter for four – but Clyde Fortuin and Ferisco Adams got things back on track by each scoring 27 off 17 balls.
Christiaan Jonker (30 off 25) fell with the team’s total on 123 and Michael Copeland (40 off 38) with 11 runs still required. But Hardus Viljoen (18* off eight) and Von Berg (6* off three) got the Rocks over the line.
Warriors pace bowler Tiaan van Vuuren was unable to defend 10 runs off the final over and finished with figures of 0-55 from his 3.4 overs.
