Ashwell Prince has resigned from his post as Bangladesh batting coach.
Prince initially signed just for the series against Zimbabwe last year, but his contract was later extended and set to end after the T20 World Cup in Australia later this year.
The former Proteas batsman is the second member of the Bangladesh coaching set-up to quit after Ottis Gibson opted not to extend his contract as fast-bowling coach.
As a result, Prince will not travel with Bangladesh to South Africa for their ODI and Test series against the Proteas in March and April.
