An overwhelming majority of readers have voted in favour of Simon Harmer and Kyle Abbott returning to the Proteas Test team.
Although the duo were omitted from the squad recently announced for the tour of the West Indies, SA Cricket magazine’s readers believe the two bowlers should be back in the Proteas frame for selection.
The two South Africans have consistently been in sensational form for their respective teams in the County Championship, with Kyle Abbott continuing to emerge as a dominant force for Hampshire, while Harmer’s first-class record for Essex is something special:

In the votes cast in the SA Cricket magazine poll, 75% were in favour of both Harmer and Abbott receiving a recall to the Proteas.
Only 8.68% suggested ‘no to both’, while 8.68% of voters said yes to Harmer but not Abbott, while 7.55% were in favour of Abbott over Harmer.
