Consistent bad weather made a draw the only outcome for the second Test between England and Pakistan at the Ageas Bowl.
A frustrating couple of days in Southampton have raised serious concerns about the ICC’s implementation of rules regarding bad light as a lot of play was lost due to gloomy skies without rain even falling.

In the end, more than three days were lost after Pakistan won the toss and batted first to be dismissed for 236 before England had their opportunity with the bat.
But, with minimum opportunity to try to ensure a result, they only returned to the crease late on Monday afternoon after heavy overnight rain.
The hosts made their way to 110-4 before Joe Root called for the declaration, which brought an end to the Test match.
The ICC looks set to meet for a discussion about alternative ways of ensuring play to continue despite the issue of bad light.
The third and final Test match will commence at the Ageas Bowl on Friday, with England leading the series 1-0.
