The English Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the full revised schedule for England’s upcoming Test series against West Indies, which will get under way in July.

Despite still being subject to British government approval, England look set to finally enter their home summer of cricket to clash with Jason Holder’s men on 8 July.

All three matches will be staged behind closed doors, while the Ageas Bowl in Southampton and Old Trafford in Manchester are the only two cricket grounds to be used.

Edgbaston in Birmingham has also been named as a training facility for the teams in order to securely monitor the movements of both teams in a bio-secure bubble.

The West Indies are due to arrive in the UK next week already, where they will reside and practise under strict safety protocols, while also conducting regular testing for Covid-19.

Pakistan will also travel to the UK in July, a full month before their series against England kicks off in August. Those fixtures are yet to be confirmed, however.
