England captain Eoin Morgan has won the toss and elected to field first in the first of three T20Is against South Africa at a windy Buffalo Park in East London.
Dale Steyn returns to the national team for the first time in nearly a year, while Dwaine Pretorius is also back in the frame after missing the recent ODIs.
Beuran Hendricks, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi and Andile Phehlukwayo completes the bowling attack.
England opted for quite a powerful batting lineup, which features the the likes of Jos Butler, Jason Roy and Ben Stokes.
Dawid Malan, who starred in England’s last T20 series in New Zealand last year, misses out on selection, while Mark Wood is also back in the team after earning a rest in the ODI series against South Africa.
